A claim on cash already in custody.
Accredited investors purchase amounts in packages of confirmed surplus equity claims. Each purchase is one agreement, with its return stated before you sign.
Not real estate. Not a fund. Not market risk.
Funds already in custody
The funds sit with a court, trustee or state program until they are released.
Value confirmed first
Every claim is confirmed before it enters a package. Timing is the primary variable.
A short window
8 to 12 weeks is typical. No multi-year lockups.
Aligned
Milan CM keeps a share of every claim. We are paid when you are.
The life of a claim
Foreclosure sale
A property sells for more than is owed against it.
Surplus held
The difference is held by a court, trustee or state program.
Claim acquired
We acquire the right to the surplus from the verified former owner.
Filed
We file in the correct venue and carry the claim to an order.
Released
The court or trustee releases the funds.
Paid
Proceeds are paid to the investors in that claim.
Timing varies by state, court and claim. Each package states its estimated payout window.
Every term, in writing, before you sign.
Each purchase is made under its own Purchase and Sales Agreement. The terms below describe how packages are structured; your agreement governs.
What stands behind every purchase.
Collateral in custody
Every claim is on funds already held by a court, trustee or state program, not on a promise of future value.
Confirmed before listed
Each claim’s value is confirmed against the official record before it enters a package.
Spread across courts
Each package typically holds claims from several states, so no single court or calendar sets the pace.
Our share in every claim
Milan CM holds a share of every claim it offers. We are paid when you are.
Paid only to you
Payouts go to your wallet. Withdrawals go only to a bank account verified in your name.
A complete record
Every agreement, payout statement, quarterly statement and tax form, kept in your account.
Is this real estate?
No. You are not buying property. You purchase an amount in a package of claims on cash already held by a court, trustee or state program. No tenants, no renovation, no property management.
Is this a fund?
No. Each purchase is a Purchase and Sales Agreement for an amount in one package. No subscription agreements and no management fees.
Why is the money unclaimed?
Most former owners don’t know it exists, and the process runs through more than 3,000 counties with no central system.
How long until I am paid?
8 to 12 weeks is typical. Payouts arrive as each claim’s funds are released, usually about four per purchase.
What if a package falls short?
If a package’s final proceeds fall short of the value stated in your agreement, Milan CM pays the difference under the Asset Value Assurance.
Who can purchase?
Accredited investors, as individuals, through an entity or through a self-directed IRA. Each package states its minimum and maximum purchase in your account.
